In 2000, Michele senior, with over forty years of experience in the wine world, decided to establish his own company together with his daughters. Thus, the two sisters found themselves among the family vineyards and wines, embracing the challenge of building a future that would follow the ancient dream that had always defined the family. It is the strong connection to the land, particularly the Alto, Medio and Basso “gorghi” – the heart of a wild yet harmonious oasis – that inspired the company’s name, protected by the WWF since 1998, which harbours a treasure of bird and aquatic species and a strikingly rare flora.
