Midor is the “family wine”, tasty and floral, fragrant and fresh. This pure Catarratto fully expresses the characteristics of one of Sicily’s emblematic grape varieties. Its aromas recall the sea and the breeze, telling the story of an entire land captured in the brightness of a single glass.

In 2000, Michele senior, with over forty years of experience in the wine world, decided to establish his own company together with his daughters. Thus, the two sisters found themselves among the family’s vineyards and wines, embracing the challenge of building a future that would follow the ancient dream that had always defined the family. It is the strong bond with the land, particularly the Alto, Medio and Basso “gorghi” – the heart of an oasis as wild as it is harmonious – that inspired the company’s name. Protected by the WWF since 1998, this area holds a treasure of bird and aquatic species and a strikingly rare flora.
