Land of historic grape varieties, such as those cultivated since 1793 in the vineyards of the Gulino winery, one of the oldest Sicilian wine producers.

Their ancestors, centuries ago, traded wine in the family shop, nestled in the winding streets of Ortigia’s historic centre, where the craftspeople’s activities near the port thrived. This journey continued at the end of the 18th century with the purchase of land planted with vineyards in Contrada Fanusa:

It all begins here, in this land, a place of the soul in southeastern Sicily. From these generous soils where the vines root deeply, sheltering bare branches in winter and nourishing the fruit as spring arrives. From this unique terroir that shapes, characterises, and structures the wines, imparting in every glass fragments of the history, traditions, and culture of this territory where diversity is heritage, resource, and wealth.
