The company’s story began back in 1931, when the young Gaetano Adelfio, having arrived from Palermo to Marzamemi, decided to settle in this small fishing village.

The factory was established in those years, during the period of Sicilian bluefin tuna fishing, which, caught by mattanza, was then salted. Alongside the tuna, sardines and anchovies were also caught and salted.

Since then, the company has continued to offer the traditional flavours of the past, believing in the inseparable link between culture, history, taste, tradition, and memory.
