The company's story began back in 1931, when the young Gaetano Adelfio, arriving from Palermo to Marzamemi, decided to settle in this small fishing village.

The factory was established in those years, during the season of Sicilian bluefin tuna fishing, which, caught by mattanza, was then salted. Along with tuna, sardines and anchovies were also caught and salted.

Since then, the company has continued to offer the old flavours of the past, believing in an unbreakable link between culture, history, taste, tradition, and memory.
