The company’s story began back in 1931, when the young Gaetano Adelfio, arriving from Palermo to Marzamemi, decided to settle in this small fishing village.

The factory was established in those years, during the Sicilian bluefin tuna fishing season, where the tuna caught by mattanza was then salted. Sardines and anchovies were also caught and salted alongside the tuna.

Since then, the company has continued to offer the traditional flavours of the past, believing in the inseparable link between culture, history, taste, tradition, and memory.
