The company's story began back in 1931, when the young Gaetano Adelfio, arriving from Palermo to Marzamemi, decided to settle in this small fishing village.
The production facility was established in those years, during the fishing of Sicilian bluefin tuna, which was caught using the traditional mattanza method and then salted. Alongside tuna, sardines and anchovies were also caught and salted.
Since then, the company has continued to offer the old flavours of the past, believing in an inseparable bond between culture, history, taste, tradition, and memory.
