The artisans of Bottega di Athena revive the old-fashioned grandmother's soap, created by combining knowledge of modern methods with the ancient and irreplaceable traditions, to produce a product that is different yet retains the qualities of naturalness and simplicity.

The workshop recalls that place where, in the past, people could meet and chat in an almost familiar way; that place called a putia now vanished and almost forgotten.

Bottega di Athena uses the cold process method for soap production, which requires working temperatures below 50 degrees Celsius, preserving the composition of the oil. This results in a soap that is particularly soft, emollient, moisturising and rich in glycerine, a natural substance beneficial for the skin as it gently cleanses.

The soap bar, made with the same passion as grandmothers of old and carefully cut by the simple hands of the artisan, becomes a piece of our tradition, evoking those simple gestures of the past from which we can never cease to draw inspiration.
