Land of historic grape varieties, such as those cultivated since 1793 in the vineyards of the Gulino winery, one of the oldest Sicilian wine producers.

Their ancestors, centuries ago, traded wine in the family shop, among the winding streets of Ortigia’s historic centre, where the craftspeople near the port were bustling with activity. An adventure that, at the end of the 18th century, continued with the purchase of land cultivated with vineyards in Contrada Fanusa:

From these generous soils where the vines sink their roots, sheltering the bare shoots during winter and nourishing the fruit as spring arrives. From this unique terroir that gives shape, character and structure to the wines and pours, into every glass, fragments of the history, traditions and culture of this territory where diversity is heritage, resource and wealth.
