Cavalier Giuffrida was founded in 1865 by Giovanni Giuffrida, who began his first distillation and wine trading business.
He had two sons, Sebastiano and Michele, with whom he built another distillery, located near the original one but much larger and more efficient.

At the 1925 International Exhibition in Rome, the company was awarded the “Grand Prize” Diploma and “Gold Medal” for its finest liqueurs.

After the death of Sebastiano Giuffrida, his son Rosario changed the company name to Cavalier Rosario Giuffrida.

Today, under the leadership of the young Mariano Caggegi, a master liqueur maker with years of experience in the sector, the company has gained new momentum by producing products of unquestionable quality, deeply rooted in Sicilian tradition.
Over the years, the company has maintained its passion and constant desire to preserve traditions linked to ancient and genuine flavours, respecting unchanged recipes and strictly artisanal production methods.
