Marabino was established in 2002 and today the estate covers 29 hectares of vineyards. It is located in Contrada Buonivini in the territory of Noto, in South-Eastern Sicily. The name Marabino means "land of the beloved sun".

In the heart of Val di Noto, in Contrada Buonivini, where Baroque meets the sun, the wind, and the great winemaking tradition of South-Eastern Sicily, Marabino was born. This estate produces wines rooted in tradition, primarily from the region's most typical varieties, especially Nero d’Avola and White Moscato.

The twenty-nine hectares of vineyards lie on low hills just a few kilometres from the sea. These plots benefit from excellent exposure and a very mild microclimate which in summer is characterised by both warmth and light, with its always clear and bright skies; indeed, this is one of the sunniest areas in Europe. The soils are mainly calcareous and clayey, featuring particular pedological variations with colours ranging from chalky white to clayey black, and are rich in mineral elements. The altitude varies from 30 to 80 metres.

At Marabino, orchards, olive groves, and vineyards are cultivated entirely organically with a biodynamic approach, naturally without purchasing grapes or wine from third parties.
Harvesting is always manual and only at full ripeness; the musts ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts without the use of any products or additives at any stage of vinification, to produce wines that are pure expressions of the territory where they are born. What lives needs what is alive! Indeed, biodynamic agriculture is an attempt to follow nature using tools generated by nature’s own life processes. The vine is thus able to be in perfect balance with its ecosystem and can reciprocate with its magnificent fruits the expression of a unique territory.
