this year our 2025 Christmas catalogue, titled "Pachino and its treasure", takes you on a journey to the heart of our land.
Every Christmas we showcase our territory and its typical products, elements that have always represented the added value of our food culture. Therefore, it is now the right moment to present the protagonist of our land: the tomato.

The reason for our choice lies in the unconditional love for our land, a love we compare to that for our own children. To love your land unconditionally means to stay and fight, remaining tied to values and landscapes that have always shaped our thinking: We cannot change the past, but we can influence the future.

The "treasure" of Pachino we celebrate has roots in its agricultural history. After a century of an economy based on grape must for French wines, between the 1960s and 70s, there was a rapid agricultural shift: vineyards gave way to tomato cultivation. Farmers radically transformed the landscape by installing greenhouses for protected crops. It is here that the tomato grows so good and tasty that it earned the IGP mark in 2002.

The Camone tomato is distinguished by its red-orange colour with a dark, shiny green "shoulder." It has a meaty, flavoursome pulp and a crunchy texture. Excellent to eat raw in salads and in pieces for starters (such as Caprese), thanks to its crunchiness. Also suitable for fresh and light sauces.
