Cavalier Giuffrida was founded in 1865 by Giovanni Giuffrida, who began his first distillation and wine trading business.

He had two sons, Sebastiano and Michele, with whom he built another distillery, located near the original one but much larger and more efficient.

At the 1925 International Exhibition in Rome, the company was awarded the "Grand Prize" Diploma and "Gold Medal" for its finest liqueurs.

After Sebastiano Giuffrida's death, his son Rosario changed the company name to Cavalier Rosario Giuffrida.

Today, the company is led by the young Mariano Caggegi, a master liqueur maker with years of experience in the sector, giving new impetus through the creation of products of unquestionable quality, closely tied to Sicilian tradition.
The company continues to maintain, over the years, the passion and constant desire to preserve traditions linked to ancient and genuine flavours, respecting unaltered recipes and strictly artisanal production methods.
